Safe Housing and Transportation Program (SHTP)

What is SHTP? The Safe Housing & Transportation Program provides Qualifying Senior Citizens, aged 60 years of age and older, with a maximum          
  grant of $ 500.00 for minor health and/or safety repairs to their owner-occupied homes. This may include plumbing/electrical, grab bar   installation etc.

  • Guidelines: Based on HUD Low/Moderate Income Guidelines.
  • Application: Complete and submit, supportive documentation requested upon receipt
  • Cycle and dates: Applications accepted throughout the year
