Office of Emergency Management(OEM)

Overview
The mission of the Plainfield Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is to coordinate citywide emergency planning and response, reduce threats and prepare residents in case of an emergency.

The five elements of emergency management are:

• Mitigation
• Preparedness
• Response
• Recovery
• Coordination with federal, state and local agencies
