NJ State Bicycle Championship
In May, Plainfield proudly welcomed back the NJ State Bicycle Championship,
commencing in front of City Hall on Sunday, May 28, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Once again, the City of Plainfield transformed into an exhilarating racetrack for the cyclists. As expected, drivers were advised to prepare for delays and road closures in and around the downtown area.
The course, as described on bikereg.com, featured a 1-mile track with flat terrain and three corners, all requiring left turns. It was another thrilling day of racing in the heart of Plainfield. Podium presentations for all categories were made immediately following the races.
The day also featured a range of activities, including raffles, face painting, games, bike giveaways, food trucks, and more. Plainfield remains proud to continue its partnership with this exciting annual event.
