PUBLIC NOTICE: PUBLIC HEARING FOR IMPROVEMENTS AT RUSHMORE COMPLEX IN 2024!

The City of Plainfield is seeking funding through the State of NJ Green Acres Program for improvements at Rushmore Recreational Complex at 1401-1503 West Third Street, Plainfield, NJ 07060.

The City proposes improvements at Rushmore Recreational Complex: construction of a completely inclusive playground. A concept plan showing the proposed changes, a preliminary cost estimate, and an environmental impact assessment for the project can be found at www.plainfieldnj.gov.

The public is encouraged to attend a public hearing to learn more about the proposal and to ask questions or provide comments on the proposed plan in January (date to be determined). The meeting will be held In Person as part of the regularly scheduled Council meeting.
